Headlight mod! I don't know if this has been posted before, I did a search and could not find it. I took a long look at both headlamps low and high beam and found out why the high beam is brighter. If you look at both housings from the front you will notice on the low side there is a piece of plastic that is just to the right side of the low beam bulb looking at it from the front.It hangs down so it wont let the reflection of the bulb reach the outer portion of the housing.And if you look at the highbeam side it does not have it. Last night I took the whole headlamp assy off the bike and cut it out very carefully and now BOTH LIGHTS ARE EQUALLY BRITE. Looks much better. Sorry for such a long post. 2005 1000RR RED
