2000 Honda CBR 929rr.
Hi Folks,
It's time to sell my 929. It's just too much for me... It's wicked fast, but not quite as much as one of the newer liter bikes.
About the bike:
I bought it last year and didn't really get a lotta info about it from the seller. I do know that the frame has been checked by Evolution Suspension down in SJ and is straight. It's got a clean title and i have the pink slip in hand. I personally had a little boo boo and slightly damaged the right side. The rear tail fairing and nose fairings are a little rashed(see pics), so is the pipe. The damage isn't real bad and certainly doesn't affect rideability or safety. I just gave it a quick wash to help highlight the damage.
Maintenance:
Valves adjusted about 200mi ago by Elskipador.
Fork seals and bushings done at same time by Elskippy as well.
Oil/filter was changed about 200mi ago.
Coolant flush using Wetter Water about 200mi ago.
Brake fluid flush about 200mi ago.
31804mi on the clock.
Stuff done:
Mig high mount slipon/midpipe
Rear tire hugger
License plate flapper/rear fender trimmed
Powder coated rims (Should be shiney, but i didn't clean them that well for the pic)
Polished frame/swingarm
Gutted exhaust valve done by Evolution Susp. (This is why the FI light is on - You can do a little wiring trick to fix this, plus you can get the 15 buck Dynojet O2 sensor eliminator to turn off the FI light)
Frame sliders (Rashed on right side from my boo boo. I left them on b/c lightly damaged sliders are better than no sliders) I can remove them if you want.
New grips
Ankle guards powder coated black.
New pegs.
Spare parts i'll include:
Rear tail fairing - can paint it to replace the current one. That way there's no bondoing.
Side fairing.
Lower fairing.
OEM exhaust canister. It's powder coated black and is ugly.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
Asking $3950. If i'm asking too much, let me know and we'll work somethin out. I'm flexible.
Please, no low ballers or newbies. Please have asking price in cash in hand to test ride. This is a lotta bike and be prepared for it when riding it.
