It's kind of hard to see what's going on, but basically -- spread the CCTL dowel by punching it? I guess I could give that a shot when I have the bike apart this weekend.
Thanks for the link, btw. Just as it seems I'm getting familiar with the quirks of each bike, historically I've switched and bought a new one (ZX-7R, GSX-R750, now CBR600F4i) for unrelated reasons.
